The Forgotten Works Challenge is an open group show all participating artists will be given 30 days to produce 30 pieces of artwork. "Forgotten Works Challenge 9" to be held at the Tashiro Kaplan building in December. All artwork will be for sale for $40.

This is a great opportunity to pick up some original artwork at inexpensive prices.

Join us on July 25 from 6pm to 9pm for the first annual Seattle Pride Official Artist art show and silent auction. The evening will feature elegant entertainment, memorable artwork and, courtesy of one of Seattle’s finest new living complexes, The Olivian, a world-class setting with spectacular views.

A portion of all proceeds raised goes to benefit Seattle Out and Proud, producers of the annual Seattle Pride Parade.

Seattle Mens and Womens Chorus annual art auction begins tonight at 6pm.

Michelle participated in the first ever LGBT Expo on the west coast this last weekend, June 21st & 22nd. It was a great event and many new friends were made. Hope you had a chance to head out and check it out.

The foundation will be holding an auction and dinner event to raise money for stewardship and habitat protection this Saturday March 15th Everett Event Center. Michelle Salazar was honored to be recognized by the foundation and will be donating a new painting. The piece is contemporary and figurative. It's a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll.

Micheal a painting created in 2007 will be donated to the chorus for auction. Chicago The 12th annual dinner dance and auction, hosted by the chorus will be held Saturday April 19th.

The work currently showing at Elysian Fields will be coming down on March 15.

I just want to thank everyone for there continued support regarding my shows and receptions. I also want to thank those who play an integral part in this creative process.

Jim Wilkinson, a local photographer, his work captures the male form in a provocative and sexually charged nature, never safe, never sorry. His models and photographs provide me with some of the best bodies in Seattle.

Reece Degolier was a friend, a Bellingham business owner and painter. His work and his life continue to inspire creativity and adventure in my work. Wild and crazy, depressed and doomed; Reece loved of life and love of those who shared it with him. His memory will continue on in my work. Love and loathing, anger and angst obsessions and tragedy fuel the personal and emotional messages in my work.

Terry Downing, a Seattle artist, her work is sensitive and honest. She captured things the way they were, she saw a deeper beauty in ordinary things. I use examples of her portrait work to remember and embrace the humanity in every face.
